Leslie Phillips recorded a song titled "Your Kindness." The chorus says "it’s your kindness that leads us to repentance oh Lord, knowing that you love us, no matter what we do, makes us want to love you too..."
The song is taken from Romans 2:4, which says “Don’t you see how wonderfully kind, tolerant and patient God is with you? Does this mean nothing to you? Can’t you see that His kindness is intended to turn you from your sin?”
Think about how good God is and has been to us. With every sunrise, sunset and moments in between we are blessed by His kindness. Paul is saying that God could judge us in our sin but chooses to show us mercy by giving us time to repent.
He delays his judgement to give us time to turn from our sin and turn to Him.
God is so good that He sent Jesus to give us new life. On this first day of Spring let’s ask God to renew us in His grace and make us new.

Lost And Found
"I had to hit bottom before I looked up to God."
Have you ever heard someone make this statement? It is a Biblical principle. In his love, God reaches out to all people to keep them off the wrong path. However, if they continually reject Him, He allows them to hit the bottom in hopes they will see the light and look to him. This is what Paul means in Romans 1: 18-32 when three times the scripture says "God gave them up…"
Jesus told a story, or a parable, that teaches the same truth. In Luke 15 we read about the Prodigal Son. He had to hit the bottom before he realized He needed the Father’s Love.
This Sunday we will study Luke 15 as a follow up from Romans 1.
Join me in prayer for this weeks services. Pray for and invite someone to come and worship with us.
