Both the hummingbird and the vulture fly over the desert. The vulture focuses and feeds on dead things. The hummingbird focuses and feeds on fresh colorful blossoms of desert plants. The point is that they both find what they are looking for.
Philippians 4:8 says to mediate or think on things that are noble, right, pure, lovely, admirable, excellent or praiseworthy. This Sunday we will study the second part of this verse. I hope you can join us as we fill our minds with the good things of God.
